Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, September 05, 2025

We are back after a month of break. Here is what happened in August.
During August 2025, 2615 Palestinians were killed across the Gaza Strip, 1,263 in the north, 400 in central Gaza, and 952 in the south of Gaza.
By July 30, the number of Palestinians who were killed while lining up to get aid from GHF reached 1,239 while the number reached 2,356 by the end of August, which means that in a single month, 1,117 were killed while lining up to get aid in August. On July 30 too, the number of Palestinian who died because of starvation reached 154, including 89 children. The same number has reached 370 on September 4, of whom 131 children, which means that 216 Palestinians died of starvation in August alone, including 46 children.
In August, Israel destroyed much of Al-Shujayia, Jabalyia Al-Nazla, Al-Zayotun, Al-Tuffah, Al-Sabra and Sheikh Ridwan in Gaza City. Israel ordered all Palestinians in Gaza City and the North to move south again, and tens of thousands of Palestinians have already moved. Many can't afford the cost of displacement nor can they find a spot to build their tents in the South.
Daily Death Tolls:
- On August 29, 2025, 59 Palestinians and 224 others were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment in the Gaza Strip, 23 of whom were killed and 182 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On August 30, 2025, 66 Palestinians were killed and 345 were injured across the Gaza Strip, 15 of whom were killed and 206 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On August 31, 2025, 88 Palestinians were killed and 421 were injured across the Gaza Strip, 33 of whom were killed, and 166 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On September 01, 2025, 98 Palestinians were killed and 404 were injured across the Gaza Strip, 46 of whom were killed and 239 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On September 02, 2025, 76 Palestinians were killed and 281 were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip, 12 were killed and 90 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On September 03, 2025, 113 Palestinians were killed and 304 were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip, 33 were killed and 141 were injured while waiting to get aid from GHF.
- On September 04, 2025, 84 Palestinians were killed and 338 were injured, 18 of whom were killed and 106 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On September 05, 2025, 69 Palestinians were killed and 422 were injured, 6 of whom were killed and 190 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
Total Death Tolls:
- The total number of Palestinians who lost their lives because of starvation has reached 376, of whom 134 are children.
- The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023 has reached 64,300, and 162,005 were injured. This does not include about 15,000 Palestinians who are still under the rubble of their homes.
- The total number of Palestinians who were killed while lining up to get aid has reached 2,362 and those injured 17,434.
- Since March 18, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire in Gaza has reached 11,768 and those injured 49,769.
- UNOCHA report: 456 Israeli soldiers were killed since the start of the ground invasion in Gaza, and 2,888 others were injured, according to the Israeli military. As of September 3, 2025 it is estimated that 48 Israelis and foreign nationals remain captive in Gaza, many among them are believed to be dead.
- As we talk, the Israeli army is destroying high rises in Gaza. Mushtaha tower was destroyed today, with Makka Tower being on the list of the Israeli army to be destroyed after.
