Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, October 24, 2025
Caption: A mass grave for 154 Palestinians whose bodies were handed over to health authorities by Israel through the Red Cross.
Daily Death Tolls:
- On October 18, 2025, the bodies of 15 Palestinians held by Israel were handed over to health authorities in Gaza by the Red Cross. 7 of them were identified by their families, the bodies of others were not in a good shape to be identified.
- On October 19, 2025, the bodies of 29 Palestinians arrived at hospitals in Gaza, 23 bodies uncovered from under the rubble, two who died of earlier injuries and 4 who were targeted by an Israeli airstrike, in addition to 11 bodies of Palestinians from Abu-Shaban family who were targeted and their bodies remained uncovered.
- On October 20, 2025, the bodies of 18 Palestinians arrived at hospitals, 10 were recovered from under the rubble, and 8 others were killed by an Israeli airstrike.
- On October 20, 2025, the bodies of 57 Palestinians arrived at hospitals, 45 of them were killed by direct Israeli airstrikes and shootings in Gaza.
- On October 21, 2025, the bodies of 13 Palestinians arrived at hospitals, 7 of whom were directly killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across Gaza.
- On October 22, 2025, the bodies of 30 Palestinians held by Israel were handed to the Red Cross by Israel which handed them over to health authorities in Gaza.
- On October 23, 2025, the bodies of 14 Palestinians arrived at hospitals, 13 of whom were uncovered from earlier Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip.
- On October 24, Shuhaiber family recovered the bodies of 80-100 family members killed earlier in Gaza city and buried them.
Total Death Tolls:
- The total number of Palestinian bodies received from Israel has reached 195 bodies. Hamas has handed over the bodies of 16 Israelis to the Red Cross so far. 14 others are still buried in Gaza and to be identified and sent back to Israel. 57 bodies were identified by their families while a mass grave for 154 bodies that could not be identified was dug in Khan Younis.
- Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza, 89 Palestinians were killed, 317 were injured and 449 bodies were uncovered from earlier airstrikes.
- The number of Palestinians who have been killed since October 7 has reached 68,280 and those injured 170,375.
