137 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since a ceasefire was declared on January 19. This makes the total number of Palestinians killed since October 7 48,515 and the number of injured 111,941. These numbers do not include the 14,000 Palestinians still trapped under the rubble of their homes who are now classified as killed, bringing the estimated death toll to over 62,000.

The vast majority of water and electricity supplies to Gaza had been destroyed or cut off by Israel on October 7, but a few limited lines remained which were cut off yet again on March 2 by Israel along with the entry of all aid. Today marks the 12th day of total aid blockade on Gaza.

Lastly, over 16 months of Israeli bombardment has destroyed most of the boats in the harbor, wrecking the fishermen’s means of making a living, causing them to create makeshift boats from refrigerator doors and cork to continue feeding their families. (Photo)
