Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, July 10, 2026

Daily Death Tolls:
• On July 3rd and 4th, the bodies 16 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospitals, 6 of them were killed by Israel and 9 were uncovered from under the rubble and one died of earlier injuries and 16 others were injured.
• On July 6, 2026, the bodies of 5 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospitals, three were killed by Israel and 2 were uncovered from under the rubble and 7 were injured.
• On July 8, 2026, 8 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 17 were injured.
• On July 9, 2026, 8 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip (including one who was uncovered from under the rubble) and 17 were injured.
Total Death Tolls:
• Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 10, 2025, 1084 Palestinians have been killed, and 3,491 have been injured, and 799 bodies have been uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,110 with 173,599 injured.
• About 100 Palestinians including patients and their families left Gaza through Egypt for medical treatment this week.
• Over the past week, Israel has released 15 Palestinians from Gaza. One of them is Adham Al-Banna, whose family thought he was killed nearly 3 years ago. His fiancé has sold her gold to locate his remains and the whole family was shocked to learn that he was alive.
• Israel has expanded the Yellow Line in Al-Tuffah area of Gaza city, further shrinking the size of Gaza.
According to OCHA, “In just two weeks, over 9,000 cases of chickenpox were reported across 130 health facilities in Gaza, half of them in Khan Younis.”
