Daily Death Tolls:
• On January 3, 2026, the bodies of 3 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospitals, two were killed that day and one was uncovered from under the rubble, 18 others were injured by Israeli fire.
• On January 4, 2026, the bodies of 3 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospital, one died due to the collapse of a building, and two others were killed that day, 13 others were injured.
• On January 5, 2026, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and 5 others were injured.
• On January 6, 2026, one Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire, and 10 others were injured, another Palestinian was uncovered from under the rubble. On the same day, Israel carried out two airstrikes in Khan Younis and Deir Al-Balah, and northern Gaza. Artillery shelling and gunfire from Israeli military vehicles targeted eastern Khan Younis.
• On January 9, 2026, Israeli forces waged a series of massive airstrikes in Gaza, killing at least 17 Palestinians.
Total Death Tolls:
• Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 11, 2025, 439 Palestinians have been killed, 1223 have been injured, and 688 bodies have been uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 71,409 with 171,304 injured.
• The Israeli military continues to demolish homes and neighborhoods east of the Yellow Line in Gaza. Several Palestinians were killed as they were spotted inside the Yellow Line or as they approached it. The Israeli military treats the Yellow Line as the new border of the Gaza Strip and Palestinians are not allowed to be there. The Israeli military keeps expanding the Yellow Line and it occupies 63% of the Gaza Strip.
• Bad weather conditions continue in Gaza with tens of thosuands of tents flooded with rain and sea water.
