Weekly Gaza Update, February 7

On Saturday, February 1:

• The bodies of 27 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospitals.
• 22 bodies were uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• Two Palestinians died from injuries.
• Three Palestinians were killed by Israeli forces.

Medics in Northern Gaza uncovered the bodies of 37 Palestinians scattered by Israeli forces and buried them in proper cemeteries.

Since the start of the ceasefire in Gaza, the bodies of 520 Palestinians have been uncovered.

Israeli tanks fired at Palestinians in Khan Younis, Rafah, Al-Nusierat, Al-Burij, and Deir Al-Balah throughout the past week.

The number of Palestinians killed since October 7 has reached 61,709, not including those still under the rubble of their homes.

Salah Al-Sufi was killed by Israeli fire to the east of Rafah.

On Monday, February 3:

• The bodies of 20 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospitals.
• 18 bodies were uncovered from under the rubble and from the streets.
• Two Palestinians died from injuries sustained earlier.
• One Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire.

A Palestinian was killed, and others were injured after a wall of a destroyed house collapsed on them in Gaza City.

A Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire near the Netzarim Corridor on Thursday.

On Tuesday, February 4:

• The Rafah crossing in the south was opened for the first time since May 2024 to allow sick patients to exit Gaza.
• Injured individuals are allowed to leave with a companion as per the ceasefire agreement that went into effect on January 19.
