Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, February 6, 2026

Daily Death Tolls:
• On January 31, 2026, 17 Palestinians were killed and 49 were injured by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip.
• On February 1, 2026, 26 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in Gaza, 68 others were injured.
• On February 2, 2026, the bodies of 5 Palestinians arrived at Gaza’s hospital, three were killed by Israeli fire and two were uncovered from under the rubble of their home, 4 others were injured.
• On February 3, 2026, three Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, and 15 others were injured by Israeli fire in Gaza.
• On February 4, 21 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes in Gaza, 38 were injured. On the same day, the bodies and remains of 54 Palestinians were handed over to the Ministry of Health in Gaza by Israel.
• On February 5, 27 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in Gaza, and 18 others were injured.
Total Death Tolls:
• Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 10, 2025, 572 Palestinians have been killed, 1518 have been injured, and 717 bodies have been uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 71,851 with 171,626 injured.
• The Israeli government opened the Rafah crossing for limited traffic, allowing dozens of people in and out each day. People who were allowed in were questioned and tortured, and dozens more were sent back.
• The Israeli military continues to demolish homes and neighborhoods east of the Yellow Line in Gaza. Several Palestinians were killed as they were spotted inside the Yellow Line or as they approached it. The Israeli military treats the Yellow Line as the new border of the Gaza Strip and Palestinians are not allowed to be there. The Israeli military keeps expanding the Yellow Line and it occupies 63% of the Gaza Strip.
