Daily Death Tolls:
• On August 21 and 22, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in Gaza and 4 others were injured.
• On August 23, 2026, 1 Palestinian was killed by Israeli fire and 5 others were injured.
• On August 24, 2026, 2 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip and 32 others were injured.
• On August 25, 2026, 9 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire, including two who died of earlier injuries and one who was uncovered from under the rubble and 36 others were injured.
• On August 26, 2026, 7 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire including two who were uncovered from the rubble and 10 others were injured by Israeli fire across the Gaza Strip.
Total Death Tolls:
• Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 10, 2025, 1303 Palestinians have been killed, and 4,336 have been injured, and 814 bodies have been uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,438 with 174,447 injured.
• Dozens of Palestinians left Gaza through the Rafah Crossing and dozens of others returned to Gaza.
• Israeli forces targeted Palestinians flying kites during the summer, claiming that some of these kites are used to start fire inside Israel.
