Gaza Sky Geeks, a “tech hub and co-working space”, trains youth in coding and modern online business practices. Using the internet as one of the few resources that Gazans have full access to, when electricity is available, this up and coming group represents the power of reaching beyond the barriers and restrictions that inhibit Gazans. Tapping into global networks to find clients and do business, Gazans are exercising their ability to access viable sources of economic stability, and crucially a sense of dignity in the face of blockade.
