Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, October 10, 2025

Caption: Israeli airstrikes continued in Gaza despite the announcement of a ceasefire brokered by the US. A huge destruction turned the Gaza Strip into a pile of rubble following two years of bombardment.
Daily Death Tolls:
- On October 4, 2025, 66 Palestinians were killed, and 265 others were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment in the Gaza Strip, 6 of whom were killed and 40 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On October 5, 2025, 65 Palestinians were killed and 153 were injured across the Gaza Strip, 2 of whom were killed and 30 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On October 6, 2025, 21 Palestinians were killed and 96 across the Gaza Strip, 2 of whom were killed and 19 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On October 7, 2025, 42 Palestinians were killed and 190 were injured across the Gaza Strip, 5 were killed and 56 were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On October 8, 2025, 10 Palestinians were killed and 61 were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip, 11 of whom were injured while lining up to get aid from GHF.
- On October 9, 2025, 11 Palestinians were killed and 49 were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip, 2 were killed and 13 were injured while waiting to get aid from GHF.
- On October 10, 2025, 17 Palestinians were killed and 81 others were injured by Israeli fire and bombardment across the Gaza Strip, 5 were injured while waiting to get aid from GHF.
Total Death Tolls:
- The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023 has reached 67,961, and 169,890 were injured. This does not include about 15,000 Palestinians who are still under the rubble of their homes.
- The total number of Palestinians who were killed while lining up to get aid has reached 2,615 and those injured 19,182.
- Since March 18, the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire in Gaza has reached 13,598 and those injured 57,849.
- A ceasefire agreement brokered by President Trump has been announced in Gaza, with the first phase of the the three phase deal going into effect on Friday, October 10, 2025. The first phase will see partial Israeli withdrawal from Gaza (Israel will still control 58% of Gaza), the release of 20 living Israeli hostages by Hamas, and about 2000 Palestinians from Israeli jails. In addition, aid will be allowed into Gaza with 400 aid trucks a day and the Rafah crossing will be open in the next few days. Despite the announcement of a ceasefire, an Israeli airstrike targeted a home in Gaza city, killing four and leaving 40 more under the rubble. Israeli shelling and shooting continued in Gaza as the Israeli military started preparations to withdraw from the Gaza Strip per the agreement.
- Israel has opened the coastal road for Palestinians to return from the south to the north.
