Weekly Gaza Update, July 25

Daily Death Tolls   

•     On July 18-19, 98 Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes and 511 others were injured. 
•     On July 20, 130 Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes and 495 others were injured, of which, 31 were killed and 107 others were injured while waiting to get aid from GHF (Gaza Humanitarian Foundation). 
•     On July 21, 134 Palestinians were killed. 1,155 others were injured due to Israeli airstrikes and shootings across the Gaza Strip, 99 of those killed and 650 of those injured were attacked while waiting to get aid from GHF.  
•     On July 22, 77 Palestinians were killed by Israeli airstrikes and fire across the Gaza Strip, while 376 others were injured. Five of those killed and 52 of those injuried were attacked while waiting to get aid from GHF. 
•     On July 23, 113 Palestinians were killed and 534 were injured across the Gaza Strip by Israeli airstrikes and fire. 34 of those killed and 644 of those injured were attacked while waiting to get aid from GHF.
•     On July 24, 89 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 453 were injured. 

Total Death Tolls

•     As of July 24, 2025, the number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 59,587 and those injured 143,498. The number of Palestinians killed since March 18, 2025, has reached 8,447 and those injured 31,457. The number of Palestinians who lost their lives because of starvation has reached 113. The number of Palestinians killed while waiting to get aid from GHF has reached 1,083 and those injured 7,275. 
•     The number of Israeli soldiers killed in Gaza as reported on July 22, 2025 from The Times of Israel: 895 Israeli soldiers, officers, and reservists have been killed since October 7, 2023. This number includes 329 killed on the border with the Gaza Strip during the October 7th attack and at least 451 during the Israeli army’s ground attacks in Gaza. 

Major incidents throughout the week: 

•     An Israeli special unit kidnapped Palestinian doctor Marwan Al-Hams in Khan Younis on July 21, two journalists were killed in process and the doctor himself was injured. 
•     GHF announced July 24 a day for Palestinian women to receive aid. A Palestinian woman was killed near Khan Younis as she tried to get aid from GHF. 
•     9 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire as they waited to get aid from GHF near Al-Shakoush area in Rafah last Friday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a school-turned-shelter in Gaza city last Friday. 
•     5 Palestinians were killed in Deir Al-Balah on Saturday as they tried to get aid from aid trucks crossing the city, two others were killed as they tried to get food from a local restaurant in Gaza city. 
•     6 Palestinians from Abed family were killed by an Israeli airstrike on their tent in Al-Daraj area of Gaza city on Saturday, 17 others were injured. 
•     32 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire near GHF distribution center in Khan Younis on Saturday, 100 others were injured. 
•     11 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on the Aqel family apartment in Al-Nuseirat refugee camp on Saturday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike near the Halawa roundabout in Jabaliya, 3 others were killed near the Netzarim Corridor as they lined up to get aid on Saturday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Bani Suhalila in Khan Younis on Saturday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Sabra area in Gaza city on Saturday. 
•     2 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a group of Palestinians in Al-Bureij refugee camp on Saturday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a tent of displaced people in Khan Younis on Saturday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Shujayia neighborhood on Saturday. 
•     The Israeli navy arrested 5 Palestinian fishermen from the Gaza Sea as they were fishing to feed their starving families on Sunday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a tent in Khan Younis on Sunday. 
•     The Israeli army issued evacuation orders for the southern part of Deir Al-Balah city for the first time, the Israeli army carried out an invasion into the city for 48 hours, leaving behind a huge destruction. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by Israeli quadcopters’ bombs in Sheikh Ridwan in Gaza city on Sunday. 
•     100 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombardment of people waiting to get aid to the north of Gaza city on Sunday, 700 others were injured. 
•     13 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire as they waited to get aid near Rafah on Sunday. 
•     14 Palestinians were killed after 5 suicide drones attacked a group of tents in Khan Younis on Sunday. 
•     5 Palestinians from Al-Riqib were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a tent in Khan Younis on Monday. 
•     5 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Jabaliya on Monday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a car in Deir Al-Balah on Monday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on the Gaza seaport on Monday. 
•     14 Palestinians were killed by a number of airstrikes that targeted tents in Al-Shatii refugee camp on Tuesday. 
•     7 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire near the Netzarim Corridor as they waited to get aid from GHF on Tuesday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by Israeli bombing near the Abu-Humaid roundabout in Khan Younis on Tuesday. 
•     The bodies of 5 Palestinians were uncovered from eastern Khan Younis on Tuesday. 
•     The bodies of 7 Palestinians were uncovered from Deir Al-Balah after the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the eastern and northern parts of the city on Tuesday.
•     5 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Zayotun area in Gaza city on Tuesday. 
•     Two Palestinians were killed by an Israeli drone attack on Wishah family home in Al-Bureij on Tuesday. 
•     2 Palestinians were killed, and 20 others were injured as they waited to get aid near Rafah on Tuesday. 
•     15 including 6 children Palestinians from Mushtaha family were killed by an Israeli airstrike on their home in Gaza city on Tuesday. 
•     7 Palestinians including a mother (a journalist) and her fetus were killed by an Israeli airstrike on an apartment in Tal Al-Hawa in Gaza city on Wednesday. 
•     7 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire near the Netzarim Corridor as they waited to get aid from GHF on Wednesday.  
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Bureij refugee camp on Wednesday.  
•     7 Palestinians were killed, and 20 others were injured by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Nuseirat refugee camp on Wednesday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a tent in Al-Mawasi on Wednesday.  
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Qastal buildings to the east of Deir Al-Balah on Wednesday. 
•     3 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Nassar family apartment in Al-Nusierat refugee camp on Thursday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Sheikh Ridwan in Gaza city on Thursday. 
•     8 Palestinians were killed by Israeli carpet bombardment to the east of Khan Younis on Wednesday.  
•     7 Palestinians including 4 children were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Zayotun on Thursday. 
•     4 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Deir Al-Balah on Thursday.
