Weekly summary of the War on Gaza, July 17, 2026

Daily Death Tolls:
• On July 11, 7 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and 28 others were injured, including a Palestinian who was uncovered from under the rubble.
• On July 12, 2026, two Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and 11 others were injured.
• On July 13, 2026, 8 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 32 were injured.
• On July 14, 2026, 2 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 21 were injured.
• On July 15, 2026, 13 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 18 were injured.
• On July 16, 2026, 4 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire and airstrikes across the Gaza Strip and 28 were injured.
• On July 17, 2026, so far 16 Palestinians have been killed, and 60 others were injured by Israeli fire.
Total Death Tolls:
• Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect in Gaza on October 10, 2025, 1143 Palestinians have been killed, and 3,703 have been injured, and 800 bodies have been uncovered from under the rubble of their homes.
• The number of Palestinians killed since October 7, 2023, has reached 73,266 with 173,811 injured.
• About 100 Palestinians including patients and their families left Gaza through Egypt for medical treatment this week.
• Over the past week, Israel has released 12 Palestinians from Gaza.
• Israel has expanded the Yellow Line in Rafah, building a gate surrounded by sandy hills. The Yellow Line is being expanded in Deir Al-Balah as we meet.
• Trump's Board of Peace, according to a Guardian report, has revised its plan to rebuild Gaza, known as New Gaza, to building some "humanitarian zones," starting Rafah, which explains the increasing military activity there and Morocco's recent decision to send forces to Gaza.
• 265 Palestinians were able to return to Gaza and 271 were able to leave this week. 1413 trucks entered Gaza, of which 821 were commercial trucks, 528 were aid trucks, and 64 fuel and gas trucks.
