• Since the ceasefire took effect, Israel’s control over Gaza has expanded from 53% to 65% of the territory. Israeli forces have also pushed further into eastern Gaza’s main agricultural areas, excavating trenches that hinder farming activities and cut off a critical source of food and income for tens of thousands of families. Meanwhile, humanitarian access remains heavily restricted, with overall aid deliveries increasing by only 4% in April. Public health concerns are also growing, as pest-control efforts continue to fall short of addressing urgent needs.
