Weekly Gaza Update, April 11

Last Friday:

• A video emerged of the last moments 15 Palestinians medics and civil defense workers lived before being killed by the Israeli army. The video showed that the ambulances had their lights and sirens on, which negates the narrative of the Israeli army that claimed otherwise. The entire convoy was targeted by heavy gunfire until all team members were killed.

• 25 Palestinians were killed after an Israeli airstrike targeted Alaqad family home in Al-Manara neighborhood in Khan Younis.

• The Baptist Hospital in Gaza said the bodies of 70 Palestinians arrived at the hospital over 24 hours.

• Four Palestinians, including a woman and her child were killed by Israeli shelling of Al- Shujaiya neighborhood in Gaza city.

• Two Palestinians were killed by an Israeli strike on Al-Mawasi.

• Israeli company Mekorot stopped water supplies to Gaza city which provides 70% of the city with water.

Saturday:

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a food distribution center in Khan Younis.

• According to Anees Ghanima a resident of Al- Shujaiya, on Saturday, Israeli quadcopters entered houses that had phone lights on and fired at people inside, killing and injuring many Palestinians, who were left to bleed out as medics could not get to the area to help them due to heavy fire. Many children were injured inside, keeping their screams silent, fearing that quadcopters could come back and shoot at them.

• The bodies of 20 Palestinians arrived at the Baptist hospital in Gaza city from the Israeli bombing overnight. The bodies of 20 Palestinians arrived at Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis due to Israeli bombing of the city overnight.

• Three Palestinians, including a woman, were killed by Israeli shelling of Al- Shujaiya.

• Palestinian Salman Abed and his son were killed by an Israeli airstrike on the entrance of Al-Aqsa mosque.

• 6 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Beit Hanoun.

Sunday:

• 8 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike that targeted a tent in Al-Mawasi.

• Two Palestinians, including a journalist, were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Younis.

• 18 Palestinians were killed over the past 24 hours due to Israeli bombing of Khan Younis.

• Two Palestinian farmers were killed by an Israeli airstrike to the West of Khan Younis.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Jabalia.

• 5 Palestinians from Abu Issa family were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Deir Al-Balah.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike to the east of Deir Al-Balah.

• Four Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Beit Hanoun.

• 10 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Tufah neighborhood in Gaza city.

Monday:

• An Israeli evacuation order was issued for the city of Deir Al-Balah and the town of Zawayda.

• An Israeli airstrike targeted a tent belonging to journalists at Nasser hospital, killing two, one was burnt alive on camera.

• Another Israeli airstrike targeted a tent belonging to journalists at Al-Aqsa hospital.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Zaytun neighborhood in Gaza city.

• 6 Palestinians from the Ghriab family were killed by an Israeli airstrike on their family home in Deir al-Balah.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Nasser street.

• 7 Palestinians were killed by an /Israeli airstrike on a food distribution center in Khan Younis.

• Two Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on a café in Khan Younis.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Deir Al-Balah.

• Palestinian medics got many calls from people stuck in Rafah that they are alive and under siege in the city by the Israeli army.

• 9 Palestinians from the Sabbah family were killed and 4 others were injured by an Israeli airstrike on their family home in Deir Al-Balah.

Tuesday:

• 5 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Safina building in Gaza city.

• 33 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire on Tuesday up until noon.

• 5 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis.

• 50 Palestinians were killed and 70 others were injured by a series of Israeli airstrikes that targeted 8 family homes in Shujaiya.

Wednesday:

• 5 Palestinians from the Abu Ghanima family were killed by an Israeli airstrike on their family home.

• 10 Palestinians held by Israel from Gaza were released on Wednesday, 9 were held at the notorious Tsde Timan prison.

Thursday:

• Five Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike around the Public Service Hospital in Gaza city.

• Six Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Abu Aloun family in Shujaiya.  

• Two Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on eastern Deir Al-Balah.

Friday:

• 10 Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike on Al-Farra family home on Friday in Khan Younis.

• Three Palestinians were killed by an Israeli airstrike that targeted the entrance of a school in Beit Lahia.

Total:

• As of Wednesday, the number of Palestinians killed by Israel has reached 50,886 and 115,875 have been injured since October 7. The number of Palestinians killed since March 18 has reached 1522 and those injured are 3,834.
